“Café Kibale” opens

As part of our Cooperate Social Responsibility projects under the Great Lakes Foundation, Great Lakes Safaris and her sister company Uganda Lodges Limited has officially opened a training café in Kibale National Park called Café Kibale on 13th June 2022.

The main purpose of café Kibale is to offer the young adults from the communities around the lodge and Uganda at large the opportunity to train and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry at a free cost.

The Café also serves coffees, juices, smoothies, cakes and a small selection of meals that are Ugandan dishes for an international palette such as Mandazi, Rolex, samosas, bean stew, fish burger etc to the tourist tracking chimpanzees and doing other forest activities in the park.

Feel free to pass by and sip a cup of coffee and a snack before or after the long trek.
