Gorilla Baby Boom in Bwindi Forest

It fills us with great pleasure to inform you that the Bwindi gorilla population has been experiencing a baby boom in recent months with the birth of several new baby gorillas.

The latest birth (pictured above) was on 28th July, 2021 to the Bitukura Gorilla group in Ruhija region. This birth along with another baby born in May increased the number to 13 family members.
